Pursuing Christ, the Goal
I am a sister in the Lord who has returned to the Lord by His mercy only. It was not my willing nor my running, but of God who showed mercy (Romans 9:16). Through Watchman Nee's and Witness Lee's ministry, I discovered that God has a good pleasure, and according to His good pleasure He has a will and a purpose (Ephesians 1:5, 11). Also, I began to know the universal church, the Body of Christ, and the local churches as local expressions of the Body of Christ. ( Matthew 16:15, 18:17; Revelation 1:11).
The rich ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee has never failed to fill my inner thirst and hunger for the Lord, like all of Joseph's storehouses of food (Gen. 41:47-57). Before I was recovered to the Lord, I loved Him, but I did not know how I could live according to His will. I just felt vain. But now I am no longer running without a direction or goal. I am thankful to the Lord and to these two faithful brothers' ministry for leading me to pursue Christ, the goal (Philippians 3:14).
